STATE SUBJECT
This work, a performance for two people and four surveillance cameras, is made in response to Rodin's monumental sculptural group work 'La Porte de l'Enfer' (The Gates of Hell) which depicts a scene of bodies in abject dislocation from Dante's Divine Comedy.
Poses from Rodin are re-deployed across a desk, where an office worker writes a report on the other performer's position or state.
With each subsequent position the second 'clerk' performer starts a new report.
